Vietnam-Asia Silk Culture Festival 2016 held in Hoi An on March 28, 2016.

This Culture Festival is sponsored by ISU founding member –Vietnam Hoi An silk Villages. As the ISU official events, the representatives from China, Vietnam, Italy, Spanish, Japan, Thailand, India and Myanmar attend the opening ceremony.

ISU President Jilin Li led a delegation to attend the festival and the opening ceremony. ISU Secretary-General Jian Ming Fei on behalf of the ISU addressed on the opening ceremony.  The dance performances with vietnamese traditional characteristic take turns. The guest ribbon-cutting on the ceremony marked the 2016 Vietnam - Asian silk culture festival opening.

After the opening ceremony, Vietnam Quang Nam provincial leaders, Hoi Ann silk village leaders invited ISU President Jilin Li, ISU Secretary General Jian Ming Fei and others delegates held meeting. The two sides exchange greetings, gifts and expressed the voice of the common efforts on the international silk industry. Then all the delegates and guests visited Vietnam - Asian silk expo, carried on the in-depth exchange and communication.
