Internationalization of the “World Silk”

    April 21th,deputy secretary-general of Hangzhou Government, Zhengyu Hu, director of Cultural Construction Branch of Hangzhou Development Research Center, Hui Xiang, secretary-general of Hangzhou City Brand Network Group, Weichu Wang, director of Hangzhou Silk Culture and Brand Research Center, Jianming Fei, visited president of Italy Silk Office, Giuseppe Bianchi, secretary-general of Italy Silk Office, Guido Tettamanti, and CEO of Ratti SpA, Roberto Belluzzi, et al.. After visiting the design department and sample libraries of Ratti, the two sides had a friendly negotiation and made a number of achievements.

    During thenegotiation, both sides reviewed the three years’effective work conducted in Hangzhou, China •Como, Italy Silk Promote Alliance, and hoped to carry out more cooperation and exchanges. Italian side hopes Chinese side to help to coordinate the grade standards of raw silk for import and export. Italy Silk Office agreed to become the governing unit of “World Silk”, and work together to develop the website. Italian side committed to introduce Italian silk enterprises and brands that were seeking cooperation and joint venture. The president of Italy Silk Office said, if China International Silk Forum was held in Hangzhou and the theme was to promote international silk cooperation and development, he would come to the event.
