Grand Opening of Silk Assembly 2015
On December 15th, the silk assembly 2015 was held in Huzhou, Zhejiang. More than 300 delegates from across the country attended the event, the most participants so far. The assembly was hosted by China Silk Association, undertook by Huzhou Silk Town and Silk Road Group, co-hosted by Huzhou Trade Promotion Committee and Huzhou Silk Association. Silk Associations and business representatives from all around the country jointly discussed the innovation approach of "Thirteen Five", analyzed the industry development situation, promoted the work of the association, accelerated silk industrial restructuring and upgrading, shared wisdom and looked into the future.
Vice president and secretary general of China Silk Association, Mr.Qian Youqing gave the work report and introduced the achievements of the silk industry in 2015. Silk base construction was consolidated and developed; Company & farmer models continued to deepen reform; Silk new products emerged continuously; Silk brand achieved rapid development; Silk development model innovated continuously; "Internet + silk" effect initially appeared. Mr. Qian also recalled the work of China Silk Association: Promoted Midwest quality silkworm base construction and reinforced industrial foundation; Enhanced silk product quality and guided the development of silk end-products; Promoted international silk standards and the standard work; Took measures to online and offline and deeply promoted the construction of high-grade silk flag; Organized industry events and strengthened trade exchanges and cooperation platform; Carried out international exchanges and cooperation and enhanced the international image of Chinese silk; Strengthened industry information and constantly improved the level of association service. The work plan of 2016 is as follows: To set design as an important starting point and vigorously promote the development of silk end-products; To dock the state development strategy“One Belt and One Road” and make efforts to expand marketing sales of silk products; To integrate industry resources and constantly promote the development of Midwest silk industry; To set international standards as a starting point and accelerate the service construction of industry standard system; To implement the reform spirit of industry association and improve preparations for the Seventh Congress of China Silk Association.
Then, some representatives gave the keynote speeches, including Mr. Liu Kaiyong, party secretary and general manager of China Silk Group; Leader of Wuxing, Huzhou; Mr.Sha Weiping, vice president of China Silk Association, president of Jiangsu Silk Association; Ms. Tang Yan, deputy mayor of Nanchong City; Mr.Ling Lanfang, president of Huzhou Silk Association, chairman of Silk Road Group ; Mr. Lan Shusi, vice president of China Silk Association, president of Guangxi Silk Industry Association et al.
Finally, President of China Silk Association, Mr. Yang Yongyuan delivered an important speech. He analyzed and summarized that the silk industry in the year of 2015 could retreat, and each silk representative should be confident. He also gave the following views: The silk industry in the end-consumer has shortcomings; Chinese silk culture is deep, so the silk industry will not perish in China; Silk industry development space is inadequate and into the black hole; The leading enterprises need to lead the industry development; The silk enterprises need to clarify the context of the market and improve the level of corporate marketing.
In the historical opportunity of grand strategy of “One Belt and One Road”, big promotion of “Made in China 2025”, the “Internet +” and the blueprints of silk town construction, silk representatives gathered in Huzhou to discuss the new development under the new opportunities. The silk assembly is of great significance.
