French luxury house Hermes recently introduced its 2018 Fall Winter collection at its Shanghai Maison, an elegant four-story red-bricked mansion.

For the show, themed Let's Play, the mansion was decorated like a castle, and the fourth floor of the Maison was done up as a "playground".

Some 300 pieces, ranging from accessories and watches to jewelry and ready-to-wear, besides the brand's renowned leather goods and silk scarves were showcased at the event.

Among the key products on show were the Mosaique au 24 bag, a flap bag with a similar style to the Hermes Constance wallet.

For males, the item of the season is an imposing tote bag, Haut A Courroies, first created in 1892 and is believed to be the prototype of the house's Kelly and Birkin bags.

The bag is made from 47 pieces of leather in 11 different shades of blue, and has a print inspired from California's Route 66.

For women, there is the modified Kelly backpack, first created in 1996 by Rena Dumas, the fourth generation of the family-run business. Made from the house's famous Swift leather, the backpack has a cell phone pocket.

The silk scarf picked for women is printed with a Monopoly-like board game map. And it come with a pair of dice.

The homeware section has a collection of tableware designed by Irish illustrator, Nigel Peake.

Peake, famous for his geometric sketches and use of vibrant colors, has conjured up a whimsical array of porcelain pieces, ranging from plates and bowls to teapots and splashed with colors like orange, globeflower yellow and Prussian blue.
