silk walls | Harry Winston opens first salon in Ho
The House of Harry Winston announced on Tuesday the opening of its first retail salon in Houston at 4444 Westheimer Road in the River Oaks District.
The Houston store is designed to capture the elegance and intimacy of a private estate through a contemporary variation on the traditional Winston style. The store interior features a soft taupe and grey color palette complimented with black lacquer and antique bronze furniture, bespoke chandeliers, hand-beaded silk walls and antique accents.
Areas within the store are dedicated to the luxury brand’s high jewelry, bridal, timepiece and fine jewelry collections, and private rooms provide a luxury space for exclusivity.
Harry Winston was founded in New York City in 1932 and it is still based in the city. The luxury brand currently operates salons in Beverly Hills, London, Paris, Genève, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai and New York City on Fifth Avenue, which is currently undergoing renovations. Harry Winston moved to a temporary space to continue its New York City business.
