Notice on Organizing ISU Members to Attend Vietnam

Dear ISU members:

Under the invitation of the People's Committee of Bao Loc City and Vietnam Sericulture Association, ISU will organize ISU members to attend Tea-Silk Culture Week during the 7th Da Lat Flower Festival. Tea-Silk Culture Week is an important economic, cultural and social event during the 7th Da Lat Flower Festival in 2017 to honor organization and individuals who contribute to the development of the tea, mulberry and silk industries, and also to create opportunities for enterprises to process, trade and promote their brands, cooperate in investment, speed up production, contribute to the area’s socio-economic development; will be held from 23/12/2017 to 27/12/2017 in Bao Loc City, Lam Dong Province. Lam Dong Province has the main sericulture production in Vietnam.

ISU member delegation participate in the following activities:

1. Take a direct flight form Hangzhou to Nha Trang; then go to Bao Loc city by bus; check in at the hotel.

2. Visiting silk enterprises, Bao Loc city; free activity;  24-25/12/2017.

3. “B’lao Silk and Tea Night Festival” which is associated with the activities of honoring tea makers, mulberry growers, silkworm rearing, promoting Bao Loc silk; at 19h00-25/12/2017.

4. The Silk and Tea Expo; at 9h00-26/12/2017

5. International Conference “Current status and finding solutions to ensure sustainable development in the Silkworm-Silk-Brocade industry in Lam Dong Province”; at 13h30-26/12/2017. The sponsor invite the representative of ISU to deliver speech at the conference.

6. Touring Nha Trang, Vietnam; at 27-28/12/2017.

To participate in the activities of Tea-Silk Culture Week, the sponsor will free provide meals, accommodation, local travelling expenses during the event.

Through travel agency, ISU arrange for meals and accommodation in Nha Trang, the round trip bus of Nha Trang-Bao Lac and Bao Lac-Nha Trang, and a round-trip flight tickets of Hangzhou-Nha Trang and Nha Trang-Hangzhou, with an offer of about 5,000 yuan per person. Members of ISU can also select the departure nearby, international members can start from the your country, but please send the list of participants to ISU Secretariat before November 25, 2017.
