【Part I】 International Silk Union was Invited to P
On the morning of December 25th, accompanied by the president of Vietnam Sericulture Association, the delegation visited the famous scenery Dambri Waterfall in Bao Loc City.
After then, the delegation visited Bao Loc City’s largest tea company Tam Chau Tea Hill, learned the history and development of local tea industry. The delegation also visited the local mulberry and silkworm species.

At last in the morning, The delegation visited the Silk - Tea Trade Fair, most exhibitions come from Bao Loc City, little from other provinces and cities in Vietnam.
On the afternoon of December 25th, The union delegation was invited to hold a symposium with Bao Loc City. The mayor and deputy mayor of Bao Loc City, heads of various departments, and representatives of the major silk enterprises in Bao Loc City attended the symposium.
At first, the mayor of Bao Loc City made a speech, thankde for the union delegation’s visit, and welcomed Chinese enterprises to Bao Loc City to investment and cooperation, hope that through this symposium both sides can exchange information, enhance mutual understanding, and mutual benefits.
Fei Jianming, secretary-general of ISU, thanked for the government of Bao Loc City’s invitation, and said that ISU is a platform for communication and cooperation for the silk industry in various countries. He hoped that through this symposium, he could listen to the needs of Vietnamese silk industry, and make effort to play a platform effect, promote communication and cooperation, and develop with concerted efforts.
Dang Vinh Tho, president of Vietnam Sericulture Association, introduced the basic situation about Vietnamese silk industry, hope that the delegation could make valuable comments and sign the memorandum of cooperation to improve rapid development of Vietnam sericulture and silk industry.
Representatives of silk enterprises from both sides respectively introduced their own business conditions and in-depth exchanges on investment cooperation in the fields of mulberry, silkworm species, silk reeling, etc.
Finally, the vice mayor of Bao Loc City made a concluding speech and implemented to the sector of the government of Bao Loc City about the cooperation intention discussed by both parties, encouraged the Vietnam Sericultuer Association and the International Silk Union to sign the memorandum of cooperation and invited the delegation to join the Culture Week opening ceremony in the evening.
On the evening of December 25th, the union delegation visited the opening ceremony of Tea - Silk Culture Week, held by the Vietnam’s largest silk enterprise Viseri. People's Committee chairmen of Lam Dong Province, vice governor of Lam Dong Provinc, People's Committee chairmen of Bao Loc City, mayor of Bao Loc City, and other major government leader, government representatives, local silk enterprises and silk enterprises attended the cememony.
At the opening cememony, a certification was also issued to local environmental protection chemical-free tea enterprises and silk enterprises.
The first series of activities of Silk - Tea Culture Week ended smoothly, itinerary full with fast pace, but gain a lot.
